Is The Ice Stones Melting?

Well it’s that time of the year again, summer is here and the Fire Festival is in full swing. The Ice Lord is back, but he doesn’t all of the same goodies that he’s had before. He didn’t bring the schorchling with him this year :(. I’m a little disappointed that he’s not available yet this year, as I still don’t have him yet. Luckily, Blizz has said that they will be putting the little fire guy Back in at a later time, so it looks like I’ll just have to wait till then. However, that replaced him with another lil elemental friend for us instead. So I’m hoping to be able to start hitting up the LFG tool soon, and start working on getting him.
Now back in January, I finally finished up What A Long Strange Trip. While I was finishing the achievements out for it, I was also working on the achievement for Wife at the same time. Now all I needs to do is finish up the Fire Festival achievement for her. I have a butt load of fires to put out for her, torches to juggle and outfits to buy. So now all I have to do is figure out how to run the boss twice a day and get the rest done before it ends lol. So it’s time to get crackin’ and get it all done.

Start of the Summer Slump

Here we are at the begining of summer, and the summer doldrums are all ready starting. Not only that, but the pre-expansion blahs are starting to get to me. I’ve hit 80 on 3 toons, and I’m working on my 4th one now. However, running the same things over and over again is starting to get, well repetative.

So I decided to start a Horde toon. Now to decide what to do. Do I start another hunter? I know the class inside and out. Do I start a warrior, one of the few classes that I haven’t played yet? I plan on making a worgen warrior when Cataclysm comes out, so it would be a good way to get to know the class. Either way I plan to make either an Orc or Tauren. I have the heirloom gear for both classes, so I could blow through the levels.
In other news Duranub is making a lot of progress in ICC. We are one shotting Blood Queen, and making progress on Professor also. I want to send out a big congratutaions to the Bel10 team for downing the Lich King!

The Craftier Side Of Warcraft

As you boys and girls know Wife and I play WoW together. I know it’s a great situation being able to game together.  However, Wife does have other interests too. She is very in to crafts, and has combined that and WoW together. As I’ve mentioned before, I started buying WoW cards, mainly on eBay since it’s cheaper than buying them by the pack in a store. Consequentially, I have a butt load of cards sitting around the house. Well, Wife was on eBay and came up with a brilliant idea. She already makes custom jewelry with dominos and scrabble tiles, so she came up with an idea to use the WoW cards in her designs.

So without further ado, here is a selection of the pendants that we’ve made so far, (yes I said we the whole family has had fun helping her with them.)
